Confitarma is pleased to endorse the 2011 Edition of Lloyd's List Italian Shipping Awards, a prestigious event that for the third time will give an international recognition to our maritime community.
Large and small companies, as well as deserving individuals, will have again the opportunity to receive awards for their activity in the year and have their achievements and endeavours recognised publicly.
This is a very important opportunity especially in these difficult times, and it is even more important that such achievements and endeavours continue to be recognised by our national and international audience, which will help to promote the importance of our industry to those at home and abroad.
Confitarma is particularly pleased that the Lloyd's List Italian Shipping Awards will be held in Rome, as this event will contribute to the 150 year anniversary of Italian unification, as the maritime sector has always played an important role for the economy of our country and this event will underline its excellence once again.
I hope that all Italian shipping companies and other organizations of the maritime cluster will give the event their full support.
